I created this blog to record our RV trips and ;morphed into life in our retirement lane and telling my tales of life. Now my tales of life are on widowhood, my new and probably my last phase of l I have migrated to Facebook where I communicate daily, instantly with family/friends all over. I write here sometimes. Continued treasures from the box
Continuing from yesterday, I found these personalized labels of/for Helen Thickey who must have been quite the seamstress. I have no idea who she was so the labels are tossed; not a name I recognize from the past. I suspect she was from the Freeport, PA area as these were in the bag with things from the Irwins. I wonder if she was an acquaintance of Mrs Irwin or my aunt? An unsolved mystery. Why would anyone have kept these? Oh, Teofil's daughter would have,,,,,who knows???
Those are nice. I wonder if some descendant of hers woul;d be interestes. Of course she may have been a single woman or just without kids. From the classy look of those labels I'd guess she did great needlework.

Great idea about descendants...maybe I will set them aside and see if anyone finds this from cyber world on the blog--and inquire next trip to PA
